Leave room for the crop.
Pinterest recommends a 2:3 ratio, such as 1000 × 1500 pixels, for standard image creative. Taller images may be cut off in feeds. Use a concise text overlay with enough contrast, and keep branding visible without covering the subject.
Work from a high-resolution original and keep important text away from the edges. Cropping changes the framing; resizing changes the pixel dimensions. A larger export will not recover detail that is missing from the source.
